HoYoverse has officially announced the release of version 2.2 for their hit sci-fi fantasy mobile game, Honkai: Star Rail. Titled "Then Wake to Weep," this significant update is scheduled to go live on May 8, 2024. Boothill, on the other hand, is a cyborg cowboy and Galaxy Ranger whose unique combat style involves duels where he and his opponent inflict increased damage on each other. His ultimate ability inflicts physical weakness and delays the enemy's actions.

Storyline Expansion and New Dreamscapes

With the continuation of the main storyline, players will delve into several new Dreamscapes. The introduction of Dreamflux Reef offers a stark contrast to the earlier environments of Penacony. Here, players will uncover hidden secrets and face threats lurking beneath the facade of safety maintained by The Family.

Charmony Festival and Festivity Auditions

As the Charmony Festival approaches, the excitement builds with the Festivity Auditions, sponsored by SoulGlad™. Players will have the opportunity to engage in these auditions, vying for the title of Festive Superstar. Advancing through each stage grants access to the grandeur of the Penacony Grand Theater, where thousands will gather to witness Robin's performance.

Special Features and Anniversary Celebrations

The update also allows players to re-acquire the limited 5-star characters Topaz & Numby and the esteemed Master Diviner Fu Xuan. These characters will join the Trailblazers to face new challenges in Penacony.

To mark the game's first anniversary, a global livestream concert will take place on May 1, 2024, at 7:05 p.m. (UTC+8). The concert will be streamed on Honkai: Star Rail's official YouTube Channel, celebrating the past year's galactic journey with enchanting music.
